Didymos Audrey with wool

One of the things I especially love about woolly wraps (apart from the just right amount of bounce), is the amazing sheen. Now I now that shimmer isn't something you'd expect from wool, but rather from silk or even linen. But this lovely Didymos Audrey with 50% wool is another example of just this lovely sheen. Just lovely in purple cotton and olive wool!

This is a somewhat thicker wrap, size 6 weighs 771 grams. The houndstooth pattern is a little smaller than Houndstooth anthracite. It's just the perfect size: not too much in your face, and not too small to make you dizzy just by looking at it.

Natibaby Pancy beige with wool

It's only just slightly frustrating how limited Natibaby limited editions are, but I miraculously managed to get hold of a Pancy beige with wool. It was sold in the blink of an eye. I quickly took some pictures before sending it to its new owner, but i forgot to weigh it. I think it was medium thick, definitely not thin. The shimmer is just a-ma-zing!

Didymos Indio Zyklame Alpaka

So what if this was released on a Saturday afternoon and we were out visiting Dolfinarium Harderwijk with the whole family, almost 3 hours away from home. I say: thank you Apple, for inventing the iPhone! So I was able to snatch a size 7 Didymos Zyklame Alpaka (70% organic cotton, 30% baby alpaca wool). It's thin, size 6 weighs 512 grams. But it's super pretty. And soft!

Didymos Houndstooth pink

I think the colour combination of this Didymos Houndstooth pink is one of the most lovely I know: red/pink. It reminds me of the vibrant pink and red of old Hopps. Just love it. This wrap is soft right out of the box. It's on the thin side, size 6 weighs 602 grams.

The box says 'fehlwebung'. I'm not sure how to say that in English (Google translate isn't quite helpful) but it means this weave was a mistake. The houndstooth pattern is the largest of the recently released Houndstooth, I think this one was woven before Houndstooth anthracite and Audrey.

Didymos Indio Autumn's Blue

Look at this pretty Indio in blue and brown! Lovely Indio Autumn's Blue is on the thin side (570 grams for a size 6).

Didymos Butterflies Silk Cyclamen

This was a nice surprise from Didymos: first, they showed the lovely pink yarn and offered a few options for a second colour. Most mamas voted for a light purple silk yarn. Next, some designs were presented to choose from. Butterflies and Lilies were the winners. Here are pictures from the Butterflies Silk Cyclamen. It's a thin wrap (forgot to weigh it before it was sold, I'm sorry!) with an amazing silky sheen. These pictures are made of a doll wrap version of the Butterflies.

Didymos Pink Dots with wool!

More pink! And this time with wool! Didymos Pink Dots with wool is made of pink cotton (yes, the same as Tramonto Waves) and natural wool. I suspect this is the same wool that's used in last year's natural wool indio and the more recent cinnamon wool indio.

This is a somewhat thicker wrap: size 6 weighs 802 grams.
