So I finally found the time to take some pictures of the new Ellevill labels. The Elelvills from the new factory have two labels at one tail and one label with the size as a middle marker. Also, the rails are now hemmed.
Slings & Things was a babywearing web store located in the Netherlands. Founded March 2009 and closed July 2012.

Ellevill Zara Tri Sugar and Zara Blossom
So the first batch of Ellevills from the new factory arrived. And I must say: I'm very pleased! The wraps now come in an adorable little bag made of the same fabric as the wrap itself instead of a plain white bag.
Also, the wraps feel very soft right out of the package. They also have new labels, with the name of the factory and the production date. I still need to take pictures of the labels, but here is some pictures of Tri Sugar and Blossom in their cute little bags.

Didymos Nepomuk with linen
This is one of those designs that you either love or hate. This Didymos Nepomuk with 40% linen is another winner from the Didymos design contest. Most mamas in the Netherlands didn't like this wrap. But it was sold out the same day, so there must be mamas out there who actually like this design. I do, too. But I might be biased by my 3-year-old who jumped enthusiastically up and down when she saw these cute dragons.
The Didymos swatch pic suggested this was a turquoise wrap, but it isn't. It's petrol, I think it's the very same colour that was used with Agave. Also, Didy said it was petrol, yellow and purple. But I think it's petrol, yellow and red.
It's medium thick, a size 6 weighs 736 grams.
Now all we need is doll wraps in the Nepomuk design. Didymos still hasn't decided on that. I do hope they will become available!

Didymos Caribe Fish with 50% linen
Remember Aquamarine Fish? They were vibrant, turquoise, thin and the fish had very little contrast. Although I loved the look of it, I wouldn't exactly call it toddler proof.
Fast forward to the present: Didymos Caribe Fish with 50% linen! OK, it's not as thick as Carmin Fish, but it's close: a size 6 weighs 981 grams! It's full of little linen nubs and slubs, but I like them. And I love it that there's more contrast, so the fish are very well visible.

Turqoise Fields hemp grad
I really wanted to own a gradation before my last baby was too big to be worn. She's 3 years old now, so I had to hurry :)
I stumbled upon the blog of Turquoise Fields and immediately knew that she would be the one.
So I asked my daughter to view the blog with me and tell me which colours she liked. My daughter is a very determined little girl who knows exactly what she wants. So when she chose the Anegada gradation, I knew resistance was futile. But I actually liked it very much, myself. So no problems there.
Alex worked her magic and a few weeks ago, our hemp Indio arrived. My daughter fell in love instantly: she drags the wrap everywhere she goes, like a cuddle blanket. She wants to be worn very often, and preferrably in 'her' wrap. Guess I don't have to think any more about which wrap to choose as her legacy wrap...
And on the way home, we encountered some urban knitting:

Wait with me...
This is gonna be fun. Please wait with me while my crispy new Pamir is in the hands of the talented Alex of Turquoise Fields!
Here is Mr P. (a very rare size 5.5 m.!) still in his lovely naked state:
I hope to have the Mr back in a week or 2, maybe 3. Patience, I need patience!
