No, the Azures I ordered for Slings & Things haven't arrived yet. But I received a very special delivery today: a Didymos Azure (Azur) size 7 to wear our beloved 2,5 year-old daughter.
Some people wondered if a size 7 would fit into the box?
It does.
Not washed yet, but already wonderful for a 2,5 year-old:
Also works nicely for a 5,5 year-old :)
Weight comparison:
Sunset 6: 1040 grams
Azure 6: 1015 grams (Azur 7: 1123 grams!)
Moss 6: 998 grams
Slings & Things was a babywearing web store located in the Netherlands. Founded March 2009 and closed July 2012.

Didymos Moss
So we had Sunset aka "The Beast" and now there is Moss (Moos) with 50% linen! "Didy Moss" (sorry, it's too funny). The swatch picture showed a slightly different weave than Sunset, with extra lines. But the weave is exactly the same. Moss is slightly thinner than Sunset, but not much. Sunset size 6 weighs 1040 grams and Moss size 6 weighs 998 grams.
Didymos Ellipses Plum
So, another Ellipses Aida, you ask? But no! Ellipses Aida is purple with dark red, with the purple side as the right side. But this Didymos Ellipses Plum (Ellipsen Pflaume) is red with dark blue, the red side is the right side. I'm pretty sure the colors are the same colors as the Trageschule Dresden Sommer Didymos wrap.
Hoppediz Chicago
Something new from Hoppediz: jacquard woven wraps. Until recently, all Hoppediz wraps were cross twill weave. That means only stripes can be woven. But with the jacquard weaving technique, patterns can be woven into the fabric.
The first Hoppediz Jacquard is called Chicago and is a classy combination of black and grey. It's rather thin: slightly thicker than Hoppediz The Light One, but much thinner than the standard Hoppediz. The rails are sewn so there is no right or wrong side, however the labels are sewn on the black side, suggesting the grey side is the right side. The middle markers are on the grey side. But which way you wear on top, is up to you of course, the labels don't show when in use.
And now for some photos!

Didymos Salmon Fish
These Didymos Salmon Fish (Fische Lachs) make my fishies loving toddler very happy. Woven from the same yarn as Papillon Rosanna, it's rather thin but supportive.
Didymos Ellipses brown-natural
Everyone who has ever tried a colorgrown Didymos wrap is in the know: these wraps are unbelievably soft. Some describe them as marshmallowy and I think that's spot on.
So when these colorgrown Ellipses were released, my heart missed a beat. Would it be as thick and soft as my beloved colorgrown Waves? After a wash I knew for sure: it's even thicker and softer. Love it!
