This Didymos Indio Purple alpaca was released in December 2011 already, but somehow I never got to taking pics. This was the sixth Didymos wrap with alpaca wool and the second alpaca Indio. It's a tricolor: the cotton is purple and the baby alpaca is light pink and anthracite. This is a thinner wrap at 160 g/m2.
The Didymos twins Ms. Tina and Lisa Hoffmann turned 41 this year and Didymos celebrates its 40th anniversary. Here is the anniversary wrap: Pfau 2012 anthracite! In anthracite cotton and 40% natural-coloured hemp, this is a very classy wrap. Size 6 weighs 699 grams.
Because of large demand, Didymos decided to weave another batch of Pfau hemp. These pictures are from the first batch.
The first and last wraps with Tussah silk that Didymos released, were from 2010. So it's good to hear there's a new Tussah silk wrap: Lilies with 30% Tussah silk. This was a very limited release, that was only available at Didymos. I was curious about it, so I bought one.
It's very pretty, the silky shimmer is really gorgeous. This is a rather thin wrap, a size 6 weighs approximately 569 grams (I had to recalculate from a size 7).
