The new Neobulle Feng Shui Attitude collection has arrived! I've written before about the meaning behind this collection. Four new plain colourways with a gorgeous large motif applied in the middle of the wrap, like a large middle marker. The motif hasn't been woven in, neither has it been stitched on. Neobulle says it has been applied using a complex technical procedure. I'd say it looks like it has been glued on. But maybe that's a little unrespectful. The motif looks wonderful, nonetheless.
These wraps are woven with the cross twill technique. They are approximately the same thickness as regular Neobulle wraps like Simon and Manon rouge. Here are the weights:
Astree (grey with blue): 819 grams for size 4.6 m.
Gaia (khaki with orange): 817 grams for size 4.6 m.
Kalliste (dusty pink with plum): 829 grams for size 4.6 m.
Sequoia (lime green with petrol): 807 grams for size 4.6 m.
(in comparison, Simon size 4.6 m. weighs 835 grams)
These wraps are nice and wide, like all Neobulle wraps. They measure approx. 72 cm pre-wash.
Each wrap has one different coloured rail - in the same colour as the applied motif - to make tying the wrap easier.

Exclusive Girasol Narumi and Satomi!
Finally I can tell you about the latest addition to our range of woven wraps: our very own Slings & Things Exclusive Girasol!
Narumi ("growing beauty") has a light purple weft and Satomi ("wise beauty") has a turquoise weft. Both wraps are designed by Cathelijne van den Bercken, self-employed graphic designer, owner of Latika and babywearing consultant.
Cathelijne: "I love turquoise and purple but I couldn't find a wrap in those colours that I liked. So I just designed one myself!"
Narumi and Satomi are available in very limited quantities in several sizes at Slings & Things.

Didymos Waves Tramonto
One of my favourite Didy design: Waves. And in one of my favourite colours: pink! I'm rather sure this is the same pink as Didymos Eva. I thought the other colours of this wrap were purple, but when I took a close-up pic I was surprised to see it was actually light blue and black.
This is a medium wrap, size 6 weighs 627 grams.

Didymos Indio Cinnamon with wool
The very first woolly Didy of this autumn! A great way to start the International Babywearing Week 2011. There have been lots of releases with the exact same shade of brown lately:
* Tina cinnamon-turquoise
* Dragon Antara
* Indio Monti
* Nino Heaven & Earth
* Ellipsen Nougat silk
* Indio cinnamon w/wool
* Labyrinth cinnamon/lavender
I expected this wrap to be very thin, but I think it's very fluffy or something, because size 7 makes the lid of the box go up. The box won't close fully. The weight of a size 6 is 689 grams, so that's not extremely thin. I think the wool must give this wrap its fluffiness. This wrap supposedly is only 5 grams per square meter heavier than Natural Wool Indio, but from what I recall, NWI was way thinner.
And now: pics!
